Activities and Events
The Staff at LaGrange Healthy Families has been busy at several local events
in the past month. We have attened health fairs, and plan to start scheduling our Smoking Awareness puppet shows at
events in the area. We will keep you informed of these events as they occur.
Our
site participated in Healthy Families America's National Accreditation process, where we were reviewed on 12 Critical Elements to
ensure that we are providing quality services to our participants. This process ensures that LaGrange Healthy Families
offers the best quality services to our families, based on decades of research in the home visitation
field. We were successfully awarded a 4 year Accreditation, and had the honor of receiving our Certificate of Accreditation
on April 15, 2008 in Indianapolis. Governor Mitch Daniels was on hand for the celebration, and pronounced April
15, 2008 "Healthy Families Day."
